P. Stephen Mooney, 57, of 527 Walnut St., Minonk, formerly of Gibson City and El Paso, died at 6:20 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 30, 2004) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday Mass of Christian burial at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk, with Father Carl Lo Presti officiating. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso. Memorials: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Midwest Affiliate, 4722 N. Sheridan Road, Peoria, IL 61614; or to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Minonk. Survivors: his mother, Betty A. Kingren Mooney, Gibson City; three children, Steffie Savage, Eric Mooney and Katie Mooney; one stepson, Ryan Mooney; and a sister, Jan (Jim) Schroeder, Gibson City. |
